About

THE NAME

Wu liao (无聊) meaning being bored, or pointless talk, was picked just because the admin decided to do this out of my free time, and just because the admin’s surname is 吴 (wu), hence the group name in mandarin being 吴聊. 🙂 It’s not a typo.

THE GROUP

Hello! We’re just two friends who enjoy translating for fun. Yasu, the admin and translator, runs everything on the site. KV usually doesn’t touch anything but the editing.

We do not own the copyright to the English translations. All our translations are COMPLETELY FREE and will remain that way! Please do not redistribute our English translations but link them to our site appropriately. We worked really hard to give you translations that are as accurate as possible, and it’s just not polite to disregard all the hard work we’ve put into it.

If you’d like to re-translate them from English to other languages, you can hit us up with a quick e-mail (at the bottom of the page) and we can also include your links on our site. If you have any questions about the ambiguous phrasing sometimes, we’d love to help, so go ahead and ask us questions about the original Chinese texts. 🙂

You can request or suggest novels for us to translate, but there’s absolutely no guarantee that we will pick it up, unfortunately. As a two-person group of only one translator, we don’t have a lot of time. You can still send in the request and we will consider picking it up if it’s really to our liking!

If you enjoyed the novel and are able to, please show your support for the author by buying the chapters on jjwxc.net! (If there is need for a guide to using jjwxc then we will make one.)

If you’d like to support us and our translations, you can buy us a kofi. 🙂

Thank you!
